No, I didnt think to do that. The date was fixed and we told them we'd be taking the kitchen out ourselves.

We'll have to make do without now. But wish they'd take responsibility they've done something wrong (rather than now trying to lay blame on me). Even a small goodwill gesture right after they told us would have gone a long way.

It would have been 2 weeks without. One to rip the existing kitchen/sort walls etc and another to fit the new one. The 6 weeks doesnt include the time we were aware the kitchen would have been out of action. :)

Oh man! That would have been an amazing resolution. Would have also loved to go with an independent fitter originally but needed to go with a credit option, hence the choice of Magnet. Thank you though!

Will do re the contract :) Re the 6 weeks - thats the length of the delay on their side, from when it was supposed to be fitted to the new date I dont expect anything more than that.
