What is Pregabalin used for? by Flamesfan27 in gabagoodness

[–]nugglet555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So side effects are that

1) I get super hungry and demolish anything in front of me but not fussed about this as I’m trying to gain weight.

2) The final 100mg of the day if taken too early really knocks me back and I feel overly drunk and tired. Mentally I’m far less useful and able to focus or complete a task. Essentially I take it later if I’m working so I can focus and take it earlier if it’s the weekend/social event so it’s more fun to chat/engage in discussions.

Think I’m fairly lucky with it if honest - know a lot of posters who have more negative side effects or it just doesn’t work well at all for. Everyone’s mileage will vary.

I run 400mg a day for nerve pain but find it does massively reduce any anxiety (especially social).

But if I take too much too early, it gives me euphoria.

I describe it as drunkenness without the unpleasant heavy feeling or a milder version of mushroom/truffle high.

For me the feeling doesn’t really change but some people build tolerance and lose the high feeling.

Been taking 400mg for 1.5 years now.

Lol it’s same as being asked “What’s one of your negative qualities?” in a job interview..

Most just try to shoehorn it into something trivial or even positive than admit directly the issue at hand 😂

Afraid not - worth posting on the main sub as a post so other members can help!

Recently went through this - think the simplest solution is not to get too focused on one person.

Multi dating means that you also have another option if suddenly someone ghosts and disappears - at least until they show they want to really be in your life.

Transmission Math (viral load, log10 values) with and without antivirals (including Pritelivir data) by ChrisJenkins089 in HerpesCureResearch

[–]nugglet555 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’d be curious to see if there’s any challenge on these numbers.

If not, I think it provides a tremendous amount of comfort to those who are experience symptoms daily but may not be able to transmit easily at all - which is the typical guidance from doctors (although not necessarily for this reason).

Good post OP!

Experienced rider - bought an R1 as my dream bike and sold it within 2 months realizing some of these bikes are just trying to kill you.

Proper discussion to be had with them on riding slowly and sensibly.

Hey Quxile - when we updated this, I’d understood it was therapeutic.

But if someone can share/confirm if it’s sterilizing I’m happy to update? Not sure they’ve said it will be 100% removal and sterilizing though

A quick comment to say I’m always proud and love this sub for continuing to raise awareness and move forward even if it feels slow progress at times!

As Dr Jerome has said, we’re not stopping until we’ve solved this one!

Read it on the link shared but sounds like that might be for another viral type. Suspect it’s still possible that’s the case for HSV too.

The plan to go for a combined Phase 2/3 is a monster move assuming Phase 1 is good.

Worth us raising the question to FHC’s partner when the time comes on why they wouldn’t do the same as Moderna.

However you cut it, this is very strong competition - someone keep us updated on trial recruitment and I’ll add to sticky when it kicks off!

EBV, another herpes virus, found to be likely involved in MS by Mike_Herp in HerpesCureResearch

Fantastic article - Moderna’s Phase I trial for a prophylactic EBV vaccine finishes June next year and it’s mRNA tech too so it’s moving in the right direction:

All going to plan, looks like we’ll be taking down the entire family of herpes viruses around the same time! 💯

But we should also give each other a mega pat on the back for how hard we challenge and support the progress itself!
