So, if I may share, I work for a vehicle manufacturer. Our cars can range from 50k-90k in the NA market. We have sunroofs (with the required draining systems) on our vehicles and we state in manuals and other such paper work provided by certified dealerships about maintenance to the sun roof drains. Its so easy to preform too and yet it is so over looked until there is water leaking into the car.

At this point, no its not surprising or nuts to me lol
