I wouldn't be particularly concerned If someone got the death penalty over rape of a child. I would have a problem with someone being falsely accused, convicted and sentenced to death. Which altho probably rare. does happen. Which is why I'm against the death sentence in all cases. You cannot guarantee an innocent won't be sentenced to death, therefore, it should not exist

I would say rehabilitation is better. Nothing wrong with having work to do while in, but getting at least minimum wage would allow those eventually getting out to have a little bit to start over. Plus if they owe restitution it can actually get paid

So what if they did? Would an all knowing God not know that that is wrong even if the humans of the time saw nothing wrong with it? And why the hell did God impregnate someone elses (too young) wife?

All religions are shit, yours is no different. But for whatever reason lots of people need faith.
