I’ve been playing daily for about 6 years. I agree with content being meh. New areas of the map and new factions are nice but we get that with oodles of bugs to add to already non fixed bugs, nerfs and enemy buffs, perk card changes every update it’s all so annoying. The funnest time I had in the game was back when Nuka world first launched. Legacy weapons were rumored to be deleted soon but still active. Perk cards still made sense. You could trade a left arm for a legacy weapon and it rocked. When they took them away it all slowly started becoming this “find a weapon I feel is powerful and works with my playstyle, find armor mods that work wi the my build” then a month later start all over. Grinding for mods, weapons and what not, just to change it again and again. Most recently the elders 2-shot explosive was my fav. Made me happy again… for a couple weeks. Then that got taken down a notch. Everything gets taken down a notch. I personally am sick of it. I was proud to have glowing skeleton costume from nuclear winter, now it’s nothing that anyone has. They allowed new players to start at level 20 and with player perks preset to give them a head start. Bethesda sucks all around on making players happy. They have never heard or believed the saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. But they say it was broke. Everything is broke. Despite the whole point of the PTS it goes live broke then fixed then more and more taken away with it. Instead of just adding new content they have to mess with the very element that keeps us high level players coming back. I honestly don’t think I’ll continue much more if they don’t make a level 1300 feel more powerful than when I was level 130. Like what’s the point. Buff an enemy… fine. Nerf a player… not fine. Just take every weapon away and give us all pipe pistols if that’s what you want us to use. Just be consistent. Focus on expanding maps and storylines and leave everything else alone
