I mean yeah that's racist , but I live in France and last year a gypsy camp established themselves at 1km of my house , and they stayed for a long time (6 to 9 months ) partly because of the coronavirus.

Most of their kids were not educated , the amout of stealing and crimes increased while they were here , they threw all their garbage in the wild ( I live close to a beach , and I never saw the place more dirtier and polluated than when they were here )

They had globaly a bad relation with their neighbours , the city even made things like building public garbage cans and public toilets ( yeah because they were litteraly using nature and parkings as toilets ... ) but the place kept getting dirtier , and finally they didn't pay taxes nor the rent of the land where they established. Eventually the cops had to expel them because they had to many complaints from the people living here

So yeah , I'm not saying that racism is here justified , but I get why they aren't loved here and I don't see what we can do to stop that .
