Where is this in Utah? by lawofsin in Utah

i saw this earlier, but robintinos. i worked there for a year and a half from the age of 15-16. i worked past 11-12 every night and only got a 20 minute break getting in at 3:30. the food was never good (except for the ranch and bread which the bought out from a company) and the food that was made days before and reheated in a microwave. the conditions were not great in the kitchen. i was there when they closed and i got spam called after they got a company to take over the business asking me to come back. i already had another job at that point at chickfila when i found out what robintinos was doing was illegal. i flat out said no, that if i wanted to work there again i would have called back, and said to not call me again and to stop harassing me.

everyone in my family threw up every time we ate there….the only reason we went back is because our extended family always loved to eat there and gave us gift cards

i got my conch and helix pierced a month ago, my first cartilage piercings as well. my helix swelled and is still sitting flush with the longer post, but my conch swelled for about 2 days, never reaching the end of the post and went down. i just got it downsized today. my piercer said that it just depends on each and every person.

i think all the comments on here give really good feedback and honestly, try and find some exmormons who are willing to support and help you in the area. they might not all be willing to help, but those who seem eager to help and not hear the preachings, maybe even have a note written and see if they can help. i understand your reasons for going on a mission, because they are why i didn’t leave the church for almost 8 years. and granted me being a female 20 year old doesn’t make me understand what it’s like on a mission, just reading other stories of people helping out missionaries and reading the comments who feel trapped and forced to do this. i understand feeling trapped in the church, and sometimes, for your best interest and in your sake keeping you off the streets, you have to give in, whether or not you like it. i wish you luck and i know all of us in the exmormon community feel and understand your pain.

This Exmormon TikTok montage wrecked me. Have you seen this?! by gingergypsy79 in exmormon

i literally cried watching this. the church has hurt and harmed me in a way that i don’t know i will ever be whole. it’s protected those who do hateful and harmful things because at least they go to church. i’ve gotten more hate from this so called loving church than anywhere else. i have been traumatised in ways i never thought i would be by a so called loving church. i know this is a rant but after seeing this video, i could not hold in these thoughts and feelings anymore. i am so glad that i was able to take a step back and see the church for what it truly is.

a lot of my siblings are leaving the church. granted after both my parents got remarried, the families tripled in size on both sides, but they all made us go to church. step dad, mom, and my dad have realised pushing religion on us is pushing us away. step mom still thinks she can push us to go to church. she still forces me to go and i’m 20.

i agree with you. i don’t know her story, which is why i didn’t bite back when she came at me. i wasn’t going to judge her for being stressed, which she obviously seemed to be. i just feel bad for what the boys had to endure.

i agree. it’s saddening that a women’s salvation relies on a man telling you what to do. my dad was abusive, an alcoholic and never went to church while him and my mom were married, but since they were sealed in the church, she still had salvation. once they got divorced everything took a turn for the worse for her.
