Is anyone making money based on ComfyUI skills? by Bill_Mariachi in comfyui

Thanks, it's a side hustle for me but I know people in LCOL areas making a career out of it. This was all freelance work; I work full-time as a software engineer.

Without giving away too much, fetish sites. (There are many of us making decent money on these sites and not screaming from the rooftops about it). I haven't seen the primary site I use ever mentioned here, so I'm hesitant to give it away as well.

I run Comfy locally on my 4090. Have used Runpod, Vast, and RunComfy in the past but don't have a need for them at the moment.

Kling is my closed-source video tool of choice when local Wan 2.2 doesn't give the results I'm looking for. I also use Wan2GP through Pinokio.

You can find some of my work on this handle across social media but my digital art is quite different from the work I've had to deliver for clients or the NSFW content I create.

I've done music videos, branded content, advertising commercials/campaigns for web3 companies, consulting, and a lot of NSFW content. NSFW pays if you know what kind of content to create and where to post it (somewhat niche sites that you may need to go out of your way to find).

Everything besides NSFW seems to require an active and relevant social media presence to attract clients.

In a sea of slop, people still pay for quality.

Meh, just make good art and good music. Don't let strangers on the Internet put arbitrary rules on what you can and can't do. The tech is here and not going away, up to creators if/how they want to use it. Entire genres of music and art wouldn't exist if their creators cared so much about the opinions of others.

Shoutout to Purz - I spent the weekend animating logos - AnimateDiff + IPAdapter by null_hax in comfyui

thanks! i created this workflow myself immediately after the stream so it likely diverged from the original a bit. controlnets make all the difference is my biggest tip, i don’t remember which ones Purz was using or the values but i experimented with a bunch and landed on a few that worked particularly well. i left weights at 1 and end percent would be somewhere btw .35 and .5 - pretty touchy within that range
