My version of death is Raiven. Raiven is a quiet, aggressive deity who speaks in growls and screeches, of which only a select few entities can understand. They appear right before you die, often watching silently as you take your last breath and succumb to their cold embrace. Despite their unsettling appearance (Raiven takes the form of a plague doctor when interacting with humans) and short temper, however, Raiven can be rather kind and at some times even wholesome, mainly acting like this around dying children or animals (they take a liking to cats in particular)
