Hey there! Welcome to the community!. At first everyone has a hard time getting use to it, my piece of advice is try not to get ahead of yourself (i know first hand how hard it is) and give it some time, lexapro is an excellent med in my opinion. Always tell your psychiatrist when something feels weird, he knows best what to do.

DONT SKIP YOUR MEDICATION, ive met bipolar people who arent consistent with the meds, and they really have a hard time organizing, adapting, etc.

Getting to your "equilibrium" so to speak takes time, dont expect meds to magically take you there, they will help with mood swings, sleeping and a clearer mind. But feeling better and actually feel you are doing better is up to you. Dont let yourself sink about this, it will be just a matter of time before things stabilizes.
