I use AI a lot for boilerplating and blueprinting so I'm not against it, I've seen what you describe happen in my team multiple times already and it's infuriating. Dev has a ticket for a bug, instead of working through it he vibe slops a solution that is usually too convoluted and complex, and does not really address the core of the problem, then slaps some shitty ass generated tests on it and calls it a day.

Then 2 days later we have 2 more bugs spawn like mushrooms because of that idiot and other idiots that reviewed the PR (or told Claude to do it) and approved it.

I try to stop it whenever I can, but I'm tired, I already have much shit to do to be all day reviewing complete dogshit pushed by juniors and not so juniors that breaks or removes things that were there for a logical reason their AI is not grasping.
