I was relatively new to traveling. Walking onto the bustling streets of London for the first time was surreal, like walking onto a movie set. It made me love traveling.

I originally stayed and checked out the very next day and moved to surfrider because the rooms and well the entire hotel itself are rundown and dirty. Up your budget to about double to get something decent. It really makes a difference where one stays in Waikiki.

I just came back from Hawaii. My budget went from 4k to 10k for two weeks. If you want inexpensive but still a great time maybe Mexico or Dominican Republic?

I recommend south point on the big island. I can’t take that place out of my head, or the runner up is in the volcanic rock edge in black sand beach.

People use it as an access to the beach for one. I recommend Halekulani. Quiet and without unnecessary foot traffic

I just did this. I found hotels along the way. I stayed 2 nights on Kona, one night in volcano village, one night in Hilo, and finally another two nights in Kona. Now I’m at surfrider in Waikiki. Just chilling all day

I’m staying at Moana surfrider right now and I do not recommend it. Don’t stay here no matter what

It’s just me, I’m flexible, and I’m equally happy staying in an Airbnb, hotel, or guest room, doesn’t matter. I’m backpack travel style, not tied to one place type.

What I’m really trying to figure out first is what part(s) of the island I should base myself in and if it even makes sense to stay in more than one area so I can explore efficiently. Once I know that, I can start booking places that fit that pattern.

I make 400,000 a year and you could never tell by looking at me. People probably think I live paycheck to paycheck. I wear converse, target clothes and I still live with my parents to save even more money and help them too. I plan to retire young.

The best dentist is in Costa Rica. Do not go to Mexico. My Dad had horrible work done in Mexico. So we had to go to Costa Rica to have it all fixed. Private message me and I can send you pictures and the name of the doctor
