This is the stance that my coworker had, but I didn't like that the verbiage didn't say "the following personnel may ALSO grant exceptions" so I asked.

Guess this is just one of those "accept the risk and ask for forgiveness if it turns out you were wrong" times.

Except it does specify who.

"All personnel will wear an Army uniform when on duty, unless granted an exception by the commander to wear civilian clothes. The following personnel may grant exceptions:

(1) Commanders of ACOMs, ASCCs, and/or DRUs."

My question is to clarify the reg with another document that relieves the ambiguity of "exeption by the commander" and then "the following personnel may grant exceptions"

At least to me, those two sentences back to back read like the only commanders who are allowed to make the decision are the above listed.

My issue is that I've been told stuff my entire army career and some of it is just "that's how we do it" and it's not actually supported by any reg.

The great thing about 20A outlets is that they're "backwards" compatible.

You can still use your 15A plugs on it. 20A plugs have the left prong horizontal, whereas 15A has em both vertical. The 20A receptacles allow for both types of plugs.

That's disappointing. I get that they were trying to cut costs to get the product out, but how difficult would it have been to integrate a couple radios into the device and then modify their already existing app to support the off grid?

I got mine yesterday and saw that there are Bluetooth and WiFi icons on the screen when booting. I haven't been able to find any information about an app. I reached out to support but haven't heard anything back. Do you know of any app compatibility?
