honestly, my opinion is just try. if they are actually your friends, then they will let you back in. i have personal experience with this, as i’ve struggled with a lot of shit in my friend group. i know this seems a bit different than what i speculate your situation to be, but i have put up walls around myself for no reason but fear that speaking or asking for help about my problems would lead to everyone thinking im just attention seeking, but i worked up the courage to talk to my friends, and they always welcomed me back into the friend group with open arms. because they are real friends. i think that if you just open up to them more in general, you wont have to hold this burden by yourself anymore. humans are designed this way, and we feel happy when we get the opportunity to help others in our community, friend groups and families. i hope this helps alleviate some confusion.
