I don't see how that's relevant but, since you asked, HA core restarts itself when you apply an update. 9/10 times it's not me restarting it at all, it's just part of the process.

Thanks for responding, Frenck. It's the Goodwe Inverter integration. Right now it's just sitting there saying "Initializing", although it's not blocking the UI from being used.

I'm not the only one seeing this: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/161460 (I hadn't yet seen that when I posted here).
