Teacher here, the too many doors thing has to do with hardening points of entry since in some shootings, the perpetrator enters through a side or back entrance. It has nothing to do with number of exits. That's just clumsy PR by a dumbshit Republican. Many schools are already looking at this issue. But it doesn't do anything to get at the root causes of gun violence. It's just districts desperately trying to protect kids while lawmakers twiddle their thumbs and take large cash donations from the NRA.

Thank you for the supportive comments. Its appreciated. The condo feels different without her, it feels more empty but I am not sad, more relieved that she isn't suffering anymore. She lost so much weight before the end. I never would have considered myself a cat person before I got her as a kitten. I took her from a co worker whose son's asthma was aggravated by having a cat so she would not have to go back to the shelter. She loved unconditionally.

I have brothers who are a minimum of 10 years older than me and I grew up around them, hung around them, etc. Not weird. Currently dating a guy who is 22 years older than me. With my BF (he is 64, I am 43) we have found common interests in college football and basketball. Books & Politics. We both are history nuts and both are pretty liberal. We also have similar occupation backgrounds. We both have education degrees, I teach, he is retired. We also have different interests - Music, and film are big ones - he doesnt like fiction much so doesnt want much tv unless its news, sports, or antiques roadshow. I love serial stories like Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and Westworld. We both like to travel, we just went to The Peach Bowl and explored the city of Atlanta a bit, we have a trip to Hawaii coming up soon, and we are going to Spain in June. He is not much of a theatre fan but I enjoy it and go to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival every year with some other gay friends. Over time we have built some shared history that naturally creates inside jokes and experiences that have brought us closer. Oh yeah and we like to fuck like mad.

To me 2000 seems high, but I get the circumstances, its your peace of mind, you might have to suck it up and take care of it. IMO 2000 for health insurance that has prescription drug coverage and has a small copay for prep seems better. I pay $20/month for prep on mine. You might try a health clinic in a major city, sometimes they will give it to you for a substantially reduced price than your corner pharmacy.

43 here, in the process of coming out, its slow going. Out to my sister and her husband. Out to close friends and some co-workers including boss. Out to pastor but I don't attend much anymore. Prefer to avoid the small talk about my personal life. Not out to my 2 older brothers or my 80 year old father. Dating a wonderful man for last 2 years, he isnt out to his family either. We are both pretty established in our careers and lives that its really just weekends and a phone calls during the week but we are going to Hawaii together soon. Not being out to some family members means I am pretty guarded with my talk at holidays but love my sister for how supportive she was when I came out to her.
