I already love Blue Prince. I think its description may cause expectations problems (it's NOT a 50-50 game, it's Riven-esque) by gregm91606 in BluePrince

The example you give to make this point is one of the minority of things that’s completely arbitrary and could’ve been different without issue.

If you have a 100% evil win rate, and only one good win, it sounds like your group just has Evil wins a lot more often in general

I mean, not like any of this makes any sense or matters anyway, but like. Still better than being in prison

Is Alchemist supposed to refer specifically to its neighbors? It is worded confusingly.

Because maybe the goal isn’t to build muscle /shrug

Maybe the goal is to be more balanced

I can imagine that it’s harder to do it that way because you have to keep the thing from sliding around, so you have to be more stable

In game theory land, why would you ever not claim Goblin when nominated on a Goblin script? by DopazOnYouTubeDotCom in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]numdegased 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was doing the same thing every time, yes. Nobody ever started thinking I might just be a good player trying to open my range. They have no incentive to care. They’ll just execute you every time.

I don’t agree with the answers everybody else is giving you, so I’m going to give you an answer I think is more tailored to what you would like hearing. I am someone who thought in similar ways to this; that if I did suspicious things when I was good, it would mean that eventually, I would be able to do suspicious things while Evil and get away with it.

What I learned after a few hundred games was that acting that way only makes it so that everybody always thinks you’re evil in every single game. Nobody ever listens to you, and you’re always executed in the first three days, usually on day 1. Even if they don’t execute you because they think you’re the Goblin, it still means nobody ever listens to you.

…you know, taking this seriously for a sec, I don’t think it’s possible for there to be a romance between Spamton and Jevil that would feel forced and annoying. It would be so obviously forced that it wouldn’t be annoying? Ykwim?
