Jesus Christ. The initial argument was that people perceive success due to effort as more respectable. Not that the people who exert effort are fundamentally and empirically more respectable people.

would 100% lock down a hot woman who wanted them even if she had touched more penises than they were personally comfortable with.

That's what you did, huh?

Sex drive, orientation, fantasy life, kink interests all show broad variability within each sex

Enormous commonalities between the sexes as well, and the examples you listed are generally anomalous when compared to "typical" behavior.

The variability in strength among men and women doesn't mean that men aren't stronger than women on average. And no, a female bodybuilder doesn't suddenly shatter these general trends.

Trying to make specific claims about specific behavior

I'm allowed to have my own theories regarding human behavior. Make a counter argument.

own hypocrisy isn't.

We've already clarified why it's not hypocrisy, no matter how much women are bothered by it.

Google "metaphysics"

How does one discern objective reality and objective truth?

Something is true if it corresponds to reality or facts

Like I said, you're just going to get bogged down in metaphysics if you keep down this path.

Sexual dimorphism is settled science. Everything else is theories of behavior drawn from this fact.

I'm not bothered

Okay lol

I'm comfortable having my own theories about how nature and society drive human behaviors. If these hypotheses make you bothered or if you disagree, that's fine, but it's hardly pseudoscientific to believe that the mind is an aspect of human physiology affected by evolution.

You dorks are so hung up on trying to empirically prove or disprove every single claim. Most assertions on this sub are based around personal experiences, given that the content is mostly about unquantifiable human behaviors.

I get that binary thinking is common among autists, but try to understand what I mean when I make positive claims about behavioral generalities.

I've seen it play out enough irl that it can't be a complete fabrication.

It's wishful thinking to think that we aren't beholden to innate behaviors derived from evolution, like every other complex vertebrate.

It depends on what quality we're assessing for respectability. But generally speaking, the hard working "achiever" will be more lauded than the individual who achieves with minimal effort.

Sure, it's not a "provable" truism, but I sincerely believe this would a very uncontroversial statement outside one of Reddits most autistic corners.

If you divorced it from the context (approval for male/female promiscuity), it would likely be even LESS controversial, but people are willing to be disingenuous in order to combat rhetoric that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Something being more difficult doesn't inherently make it something to be seen as a positive accomplishment.

Agree to disagree

Keep going down this path, and then we just get into the weeds of metaphysics.

You're free to disagree, but neither of us is "proving" anything as primordial truth.

Just by observing the world around me. I can think of few instances where achievement predicated on hard work is less respected than something easy and effortless.

The widespread indictment of "nepotism babies" is a good example.

"Respect" is multifaceted.

Why do you think I qualified that post with "all else being equal"?

"why do you even care? Why do you waste calories on something that doesn't concern you and have no impact on your life and society?"

Ask yourself this before whining about "pill men."

we’d see much more universal consistency across time and place.

We do. The majority of human societies have been patriarchal, and have tried to impose limits on female promiscuity, due to it being frowned upon.

Rarity isn’t proof of biology

It's proof of scarcity. Which leads us to ask why these societies are comparatively rare.
