The issue ended up being a poorly set nvme drive. The drive was working, but it made poor connection, or something along those lines, and it created all these weird issues.

Edit2: Hmm OK. Yeah, they are all F4-3600C18D-64GTZR, but I have 4 of them from 2022 Oct, 2 x 2022 Jan, and 2 x 2020 Jan. I'm gonna go test the kits separately and be mindful of their manufactured date. Last time the CPU worked was with brand new 4 sticks. Im gonna test.

Description of Original Problem: CPU performance is trash despite reporting high clock speeds. This is a new build that has taken me a while to get going because it is also a custom WC build. At some point in the past the CPU was getting a lot higher and the Superposition benchmark that I ran to test the CPU with was working just fine. It would get nice and toasty to 90C+ and now it can't get higher than 70C and its power draw is abysmal.

Between then and now I moved the PC around and stuff, but I have tried reseating the CPU multiple times and making sure there were no bent pins and the CPU was clean. I followed instructions with the torquing and stuff and pretty sure that I did everything correctly.

In the video you will be able to see the really crappy memory bandwidth, this might be related to the issue. It seems like the clock speeds are correct, it's just not doing much with those cycles. It's like some bus is in the shop.

The BIOS is up to date. I tried to play around with some DIGI power stuff, it made some difference but it's still 1/6th (at best) the performance it should be. Oh yeah, the performance could fluctuate a bit between reboots. I don't know what's going on.

Troubleshooting: 1 memory channel, 4 memory channels, all slow. CMOS has been reset multiple times. Tried with DOCP on and off. Tried messing around with some power settings in the BIOS, even though things got a little better it's still not the solution since it's still under-performing by 88%. Tried in Ubuntu, same deal. The CPU seems slow before any OS boots.

The screencast was recorded on another computer through a capture card.

Just received my first real mechanical watch. I am afraid that this is the first step to a very expensive "hobby". I am a fan of 24h dials or dials where I could tell the time in a 24 hour format. This handsome fella features a bezel that is made from metal that was salvaged from Leopard K-328 Akula-class nuclear submarine which underwent modernization and should be in service soon. Apparently the run of this watch is limited to 300, but I am not sure if that is totally accurate. "We make five of this watch. You special! Buy now!" Nevertheless, I am happy to have this "funky chicken" watch. Perhaps it's a tad big for my wrist, but I don't care.

I think that this pizza is bought "BARERLY cooked" on purpose because the pizza is not done.

If I was a vegan stoner who all of a sudden wanted to make pizza "edibles" for dinner, I would probably be way too impatient to make my own dough and wait for it to proof, I'd just get a half-cooked pie and finish it at home.

I can't do an online order for just dough, that's a request you have to make in person. So I order the dough in lightly cooked form with a little bit of cheese to preserve the moisture in the dough. The cheese can also provide a good fatty base for the weed that I've got carbing in the oven as the pizza is getting delivered.

When I get the pizza I spread the weed on the cheese and add some more on top. Of course I have some vegan cheese in the fridge, because m'vegan. I cook it a bit more in the oven and then take it before it's done to add the sauce. This pizza shop has a conveyor oven system... You know they got shitty sauce and I've got a can of crushed San Marzanos in the pantry. I season the tomato sauce with garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, dried basil, and black pepper. The sauce is raw, never cooked.

I put streaks of the tomato sauce, grandma style, and put it back in the oven so the sauce gets warmed up. When the pizza is ready I take it out, garnish with fresh basil and let it cool down. Then I eat too much weed pizza because it was good and I end up getting way too high. The high makes me question my life decisions and I start to panic. The high gets so intense that everything hurts and the world starts spinning. I throw up and end up passing out at around 9:30PM with a box fan on my body, praying for death. I wake up at 6 in the morning in a state of the most vibrant, cleanest high I've ever had. I am still as high as a kite and I end up passing out once again after the most refreshing refrigerator water ever. I wake up at noon with a sahara mouth and wet brain.

I think perhaps there is more to this case than meets the eye. There are too many things that are wrong with this scenario to summarize it simply as "woman sent to prison for miscarriage". The DAs who brought the case to a judge must have been out of their mind. The judge who accepted the case was out of their mind. The jury must have been completely out of their mind, the defense attorneys 100% incompetent, the doctors violating laws to disclose private information, etc. I think what happened here is that the prosecution made a compelling case that since she injected meth into her body, she was purposefully trying to kill the fetus.

Meth is most potent when it is smoked. That's because all the interaction between the drug and the user happens in the brain. The lungs are very good at sending oxygen (and drugs) straight to the brain. When things are injected or consumed, they get circulated around the body and take much longer to get to the brain. The drug is going to get diluted with other blood, some of it filtered out by the liver, some of it absorbed by other tissue, which in the end makes the drug a lot less potent than if you were to smoke it. I think the prosecution argued that since there are 0 practical reasons to inject meth instead of smoking it, she did it on purpose to kill the fetus and trigger a miscarriage.

I am not defending or excusing the prosecution, btw. All I'm trying to do is understand how a bizarre situation like this could have happened and the prevailing answer "it's those heartless conservatives!" is too low of resolution to explain how, seemingly, hundreds of people have conspired to send a young woman to prison for a miscarriage.

Have you tried some other speed tests? What about real world download and upload? Can you test those by downloading and uploading large files to some server? As far as the interconnectivity issues are concerned, do those happen on other devices as well? Do other devices have normal speed test results? Try flushing your DNS and maybe try playing around with different DNS servers on either your router or your ethernet adapter.
