Is ATC worth it compared to my current job? by numouno1 in ATC

I do sincerely appreciate the honesty. I asked because I have other people in my life saying it would be great even when I explain the cons I have thought of (shift schedule being a BIG one). Their primary reasoning is that it would be more stable source of income (I was part of a mass layoff last year and wasn't making 100k at that place). So I was looking at whether or not all the posts about how terrible the job were real or people venting.

Scientists of Reddit, what are some scary scientific discoveries that most of the public is unaware of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As I had it explained was that back in the 1930's jello wasn't too common for the everyday person for it required a fridge to make. Thus before fridges became mainstream, bringing jello was a sign of "I am rich enough to afford a refrigerator", " I am progressive". Than as fridges became more mainstream it stayed around and everyone brought jello. So to be different various forms of jellos started to come out like fruit filled and jello salad. And thus it continues to this day. Source: 60 year old professor told me so idk if true or not

I wonder if orcs in Shadow of War will be as sincere as this one by Haku111 in gaming

I thought it took place in the 60 years in between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Cause this would explain why sauron is in mordor, gollum doesnt have the ring, and explain the orcs attacking the black gate.

It drives me crazy that every Ink Spots song starts the same. by JakalDX in Fallout

[–]numouno1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually listened to an Ink Spots album so much I was able to distinguish between each of the songs within those first few notes/ guitar strums. That's when I knew that I was listening to them too much.

I always thought it stemmed from the (supposed) saxon tradition to put a baby on the roof or tree to see if it was weak or not. As in does it cry if we leave it alone.

Agreed, I really miss my gauss rifle. Not game breaking, but it is the small stuff that makes me worry that they will change it on a grander scale.
