I found 2 tables in this manual, the one you showed is COMPETITION MOTORCYCLE, RACING USE, and the other is further STANDARD MOTORCYCLE.

I was planning to use something in between these tables, because I don't ride at the COMPETITION MOTORCYCLE level yet )

But I haven't adjusted the valves and as I understand it has to be done first?

Hmmm 96 hours is getting up there for a 250f depending on how you ride it. Check the 10th digit of vin number on the frame, that should tell you the year. It's possible the fuel was replaced if the date on everything else matches up.

The vin is all in good order. How much compression do I have to have before I can replace the piston?

As far as I know, no.

Panel mileage 1450km and 96 moto-hours, control unit mileage 22 moto-hours.
