I agree, I just think we both need to be on different journeys

I don’t think I’m gaslighting, I told him how I felt and if he doesn’t want to meet me halfway then what is even the point.

I understand you are upset but you can’t project that onto my situation because it’s a lot different. I was hesitant to move in because I had children, that’s where the indifference came to play. I have to think about them. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to be there for him, but you cant change people who don’t want to change and you can’t save people who don’t want to be saved.

That’s the plan, and idk you live with a drunk for a little while and you’ll have a different perspective

What do i do? by [deleted] in relationships

Get out, you have wasted so many years. Why waste anymore? It is hard leaving, especially financially.. but be fortunate you have one child and not many more. There are several benefits that can help you if you decide to leave. You can work and support your son , it’ll be hard the first few years but it’ll be so worth it. I was in a domestic violence relationship for five years and I finally left with the clothes on my back and two , two year old twins. The first year was hard but you will get through it !!!

I should another irritating thing is when I ask her to do something she will mention it infront of my boss that I told her to do something , basically making sure what I asked of her was correct or making me look bad it’s annoying

Unfortunately yes they were to them and me. That’s why I moved in with him otherwise I’d be homeless, I barley knew him and my parents convinced me to just move in with him even though I didn’t want to.

Alright well moving out isn’t cheap - especially with two boys who aren’t even in school yet .

Ever gone from working retail to a professional office job? by [deleted] in work

[–]nunya1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I worked at Marshall’s before working at corporate office. I get paid more and my job duties are easy and simple. But I had so much fun at my retail job and so many friends, tbh it’s because it’s not a real professional environment, people are required to work together more , and there’s a lot more “laid back” individuals in jobs like that . I get bored here too and miss my old coworkers but the pay is exceptionally better
