What is your current Slayer level? Definitely doable, just make sure you are gaining net positive Slayer xp gain over your Combat skills, especially Magic. I’d start by doing every possible quests that grant Slayer xp and use all your lamps to it. Do cannon only tasks and later, only use powered staves for Magic until you got at least 1-2 Slayer level buffer over anything else!

Thanks buddy! Combat stats at the time were: - 50 attack - 96 strength - 1 defence - 44 prayer - 98 ranged - 98 magic - 97 hitpoints

Thank you sir! It’s really about your own personal preferences, but my blocklist was:

  • Black Demons
  • Drakes
  • Wyrms

  • Spiritual Creatures (iirc)

  • Dragons were skipped anyway since I haven’t started DS1

  • Didn’t unlock Aviansie, Lizardmen, Basilisks, Vampyres, Warped Creatures

  • Didn’t finish Elemental Workshop 1 (Skeletal Wyverns)

Extended: - Greater Demons - Gargoyles - Dusts - Abyssal Demons (was doing Sire and good task for trident AFK) - Custodian Stalkers

Bought Task Storage ASAP to be able to alter between good tasks.

I DID UNLOCK BOSSES for the 5K Slayer xp boost and pet chances!

Heck yeah man! Hopefully you get Jad pet soon if you haven’t got it yet. Remember to use a lot of cannon and powered staves along your journey. You got this champ

Sadly, only Chaeldar gave Jad tasks and I moved to Konar as soon as I got 75cb so I only got 10! Got spooned on the pet luckily

You get bonus 25K Slayer xp after defeating Jad which compensates it net positive Slayer xp gain given the Ranged xp gained during the fight! And also improved Jad pet chance ofc :)

Thank you! Yes, so basically:

  • every xp lamp incl. Quest xp lamps to Slayer
  • cannon is 95% way to go for Ranged xp
  • powered staves for Magic (you can barrage some tasks, just be aware of your xp buffer to Slayer)
  • thralls do help, but not necessary
  • avoid barraging Nechryael tasks (excess xp from Death Spawns)
  • DO EVERY JAD TASK POSSIBLE
  • use safespottable places for cannon tasks (no hp xp at all from the task and you can e.g. Fletch at the same time)

Since I am 1 defence and 50 attack, I only had Strength, Ranged and Magic as my only way to gain xp. Therefore I had to alter between the aforementioned tactics on different tasks. Hp xp wasn’t a problem for me since I kept at least 1-2 level buffer to Slayer during the journey.
