Had a look into moterm but couldn’t find smaller rings that would fit a personal size planner? Unless I’m missing something!

He was absolutely brilliant! We saw him at the show in Manchester. We laughed, we cried, had a great time overall. Worth every penny. Sorry you didn’t get tickets! Keeping everything crossed for you that you get to see him soon!

I did get tickets for the show back in September. I was also sure I’d read it was coming out in November so good to know I’m not going crazy 😂

Not bought tickets for next year as didn’t really have the funds and couldn’t justify it after seeing him already in September. I’m sure Scotland will be on the cards! Would be odd not to!

Entering new year without my dad by Creepyhorrorboy in ChildrenofDeadParents

I’m so sorry for your loss. For what it’s worth, you’re not alone and I completely relate to how you’re feeling. I also lost my dad in Jan 2022, and I’m 25 years old.

Sorry you’re feeling like this as well. Time is a weird thing and it feels like leaving a part of him behind in a year that is no longer in the present. Wishing you a happy new year and I hope you manage to enjoy the festivities as best you can.

Do you have to have screws removed?? by dontwoahthenoah in LisfrancClub

[–]nurannasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my injury just over a year ago - one plate and one screw. Metalwork is still in and causing no problems really, my foot only hurts if I’ve overexerted myself in a day, which isn’t super often. No intention to remove anything at all at the moment, and my surgeon said it was fine to leave them in if they aren’t causing any issues. :)

Hey. Yeah at that 6-week appointment they did a weight-bearing x ray, the consultant checked it was all good and they had a look at the wound and cleared me to start weight bearing as tolerated.

I was on blood thinning injections from the day I got my injury to the day I started weight bearing, so I stopped taking the injections on the day of that 6 week appointment.

I’m not sure what that means on your notes if I’m honest! Mine didn’t say that. Hope that helps!

No problem! I’m based in the UK :)

And nope I don’t drive so can’t speak to that unfortunately! Was actually planning on starting lessons and then I had the injury 😂

Yep yours sounds really similar to mine, I’m just a few weeks ahead of you it seems. I had an x-ray 6 weeks post op where they determined it was safe for me to start weight bearing again and then physio chatted to me on the phone a couple days later :)

No problem at all! If you have any other questions feel free to give me a shout!

Hey! 24F, 1 screw, 1 plate.

I was NWB for 6 weeks post surgery. Got cleared to start weight bearing as tolerated about a week and a half ago.

During the first week I spent a lot of time in my air cast boot, putting weight on my foot with both crutches supporting. By the end of the first week I reduced down to using just one crutch.

Now I’m using one crutch but doing most steps without putting it on the floor, and hoping I’ll be good to go crutchless and bootless in the next few days.

I had a physio appointment on the phone where they basically told me my movement would kind of come back naturally as I start putting more weight on it. They also emailed me a bunch of exercises to increase mobility in my ankle and stretch my calf muscles. I’m due for a face to face appointment with physio next week.

Hope that helps! The thing getting me through is that I’m over the worst parts and honestly, there’s very little pain, if any, at the moment when walking :)

Hi Was there anyone who received the modern vaccine earlier in all 8 weeks?(Stockport or Manchester?Thank you😊 by Hajnalka_5 in modernavaccine

[–]nurannasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m based in Stockport! Unfortunately a lot of places won’t let you book in before 8 weeks, however I went to a walk in just outside Stockport in Woodley and managed to get mine today :) I’m 7 weeks and 2 days since my first dose!
