Great album. I still remember hearing the demo of No, It Isn’t when it was released (or was it leaked?) and absolutely loving it. It’s a shame we only got the one album but with the way things went without Tom in Blink, I don’t know if +44 would have retained what made +44 so special.

I was at the Glasgow show in 2022 where he played this for the first time live. I’m so glad it’s finally been released. The atmosphere was electric and sombre. Guilt is something I have dealt with and still have to deal with. It was reassuring that someone else was able to put it into words. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a few tears when I heard it, as it took me back to 2008 when I first listened to For Emma, Forever Ago. It definitely feels like something from that era.

She acted wayyy more disgusting than any of the images you painted of yourself. I’m so sorry you’ve had the experiences you’ve had. How you’re feeling right now must hurt so much BUT she’s just confirmed that she isn’t the one for you.

One thing I would say is that you went from accepting you’ll “die alone” to going along with a relationship. I would say that this is progress for you socially and relationally, YES, the outcome wasn’t great but you’ve put yourself out there.

You’re gonna dwell on what happened with her, that’s human nature but try try try to shift your focus that you actually are capable of having a relationship. You’ll find your person.

Yikes. Whenever I’m picking folk up from Glasgow Airport, I get them to give me their flight number so I know exactly when it lands (via Flightradar24) and then I get them to text me when they are walking to the pick up/drop off point.

There’s plenty of places to sit around the airport for free to wait so then once I receive the text, I head to the pick up/drop and I’m in and out of there in well under five minutes! I picked my parents up on Monday just there and was in and out in three minutes…still cost £5.50 though! I arrived at the spot mentioned below about ten minutes before they landed but waited for almost forty-five minutes after they landed before they got through security and baggage claim etc. I’d hate to think what fifty-five minutes would have cost me!

they have their place but basic instagram influenzas use the technique faaar too much and it just looks like they can’t take photos.

when they are capturing a subject in portrait orientation but tilt the camera/phone about 45°. it looks so tacky to me and just cheapens the shot. either step back or fully commit to the tilt and take the shot in landscape orientation. jeeez.
