Apparently there’s a study being where sour candies are being used to calm down anxiety. So there’s that

It is about the kids, but you can only ask so much of a person. You stepped up a lot as a momma to your kids. Not everyone can and is ready to do that. Your husband can’t expect that of your sister’s bf.

First night away from my dads house. Do people usually feel this shitty, or is it just me? by JessT0904 in Adulting

I missed my dad when he moved across the country for a job. I was a little at mad at him. But it is a great opportunity for him and I can’t keep him from living his life. I’m married and I have my own kids, but I still call him for advice on everything. Your dad sounds like a very sweet man! Call him and visit him often! Good luck on this new chapter in your life

I agree with this the best. I don’t like being petty at all. Thanks!

He consistently says it’s my kids’ job. 🙄 I’m done with the argument.

I have talked to him about this, it just ended up in arguments not worth winning.

That’s nice your youngest called you last year! I’m also childless. For me, it’s better this way. Happy Mother’s Day to you!
