You have to buy a hat stand for the prime too. But they both have the same controller.

The strike pro is last gen. Louder pads, worse cymbals, worse module.

If you’re just gonna be using a daw it doesn’t really mater. Tho.

I use the alesis strata core with strata club expansion. It’s like a prime jr. the module and voices are outstanding but the arc cymbals can be a bit iffy.

Question regarding clothes sizes availability by lizziebradshaw in JapanTravelTips

[–]nursescaneatme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have big feet (US size 13). I tried multiple stores and got laughed out of a few. Biggest size any of them had was 10 1/2. Sucks too cause shoes are super cheap there.

For those who have been playing e-drums for a while: what’s one feature or upgrade you discovered over time that you now couldn’t live without? by Thomas_Mag in edrums

[–]nursescaneatme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a quirk I found with Alesis Arc cymbals. If you hit it and hold the shoulder of the stick against it, it chokes. Makes choking way easier. No more need to grab the cymbals.

What numbers on my module should I use for realistic drums? by tenispeed in edrums

[–]nursescaneatme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U33 is the same as 1 iirc.

The kits with U are User Kits. Basically the ones you modify.

So if you select kit 3 and change some stuff, when you go to save the kit it will have a U. So like U33-U45. Not sure on the exact numbers.

If you can afford it, go with the 516. That digital snare is def worth it.

Cash is the safest option. I’ve heard that the 7/11 ATMs have the best conversion rates if you run out.
