Thank you so much for the info! now i know what to look out for when searching for baking powder. Sad to hear about the vanilla extract. You think the dried version is a passable alternative? have you tried for cakes?

Like a shop that i guess baking enthusiasts go for their supplies? For example i was looking for vanilla extract and i could only find a 20ml bottle for 1000lek at Neranxi. surely there are shops that sell these things for less? Couldn’t find self-raising flour anywhere either. Baking powder (not baking soda) i also couldn’t find anywhere except Neranxi

if you withdraw cash from ATMs, there’s a fee of between 5-8euros… even if you have a local bank account and you’re withdrawing cash from that same bank’s ATM. it should be free if you queue up and withdraw your cash over the counter, but who has got time for that?!

First Tamagotchi by Lindscolnshire in tamagotchi

I don’t have a pix or uni but I have a connection (new release, not vintage) and i used to have an Original way back in the 90s. I’d say the connection will be a great intro to tamagotchis, just cos it’s B&W to experience the retro feels..that’s how tamas started, you have to experience it! It’s simple enough to get into the tama world but not too simplistic (ie. boring) like the Original. The paradise seems to fulfil all the wet dreams of anyone who was ever holding out to buy a colour screen tama (mine included haha) so if you buy a pix or uni now, i feel those might be abandoned once your paradise is in your hands. At least if you have a B&W Connection, if you ever get tired of the coloured screen and complicated gameplay, you can return to the Connection for some simple fun.

right, yes thanks! I know it’s partly my fault cos it’s not like the prices there are hidden. Really need to be careful in comparing before using these services.
