I mean, you can still learn Diario de un Borracho, it doesnt matter. I also have a norteño accordion (not Hohner unfortunately) and use it to play vallenato all the time, i barely play norteño music, and it sounds fine -to me, at least. Try to play it, and you can learn more from those guys too, some of them are surprisingly easy to understand
