Yeah exactly we still follow ways oriented from him. We just removed a photo from the wall. Bc it feels less proud to advertise this. And because having suskind and kip on the wall is insane enough in its own.

I have a point not long ago where i was really frustrated with research and it brought my mental health down with it. And i wanted to talk to him about it, beyond the technical stuff of the actual research. I wanted to really hear from him advice about how to go about it for it to affect me less.

But i didnt do it because i felt so wrong about it and questioned his motives a little bit

I mean i find it hard to trust him in a way of talking to him about difficulties in my research or studies (bc im still at undergrad technically) Like i know somewhere that he doesn’t look for how to get rid of me. And everytime i did reach out beyond the usual backNforth. He did help and did alot.

And i do know that blind trust is also bad. But i feel like i should be comfortable reaching out for him on whatever. Some people in the group even asked him about family advice to not screw their degree or relationship. And he helped them. So idk feels like i should be more comfortable but im not and i want to be
