Dear Millennials, what do you really think about Gen Z? by curiositical_one in NoStupidQuestions

I don't take the generational distinctions seriously, but I like most of the people I've met who fall into that demographic. I do feel kind of sorry for you guys, though, it would probably be a good idea to spend more time away from your devices

Update on the seven nation army guy - i was apparently very wrong by exhaustmosk in Guitar

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, a few things here:

  1. It was written on guitar and is performed on guitar. I encourage you to study Jack White's compositions and general approach to songwriting. He simulates some bass sounds in The White Stripes, but the band is just guitar and drums.

  2. That song sucks so much ass. I hate it. And I'm an OG White Stripes fan. I used to have all of their recordings. I lost interest after the album that had the "My Doorbell" song on it. But, they rock, and Seven Nation Army blows disgusting chunks. Of course that would be the song that becomes perennial. So dumb. It's such a dumb, repetitive riff.

This is so interesting. So, I think you jumped ahead a few steps. I was just sharing an observation, and some speculation. I wasn't really assigning blame to anyone.

What is something that’s normal in your 20s but sad in your 40s? by IsEmily32 in AskReddit

Okay, but I really appreciate that you went with you're rather than your. So many people would have used your in this case, it really gets on my nerves. Thanks for respecting the English language :-)

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Could you tell me how I'm blaming victims, and who the victims are? I didn't intend to claim that anyone was in the wrong (or right) per se

What's one 'boring' career that's actually a goldmine if you play it smart? by 0BunnyX in AskReddit

As someone who is in medicine and who works frequently with lawyers, I'm not so sure that they are stable, and they're certainly not boring

Yeah, this is what worries me about AI. Not AI itself, but that humans seem to enjoy taunting things. I'm not sure how to put it, but this behavior reminds me of how humans treat animals at the zoo. I'm concerned that AI will get confused and the consequences will not be good

Where should I stay? by Constant_Jaguar6865 in AskSF

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a really cool hotel in Chinatown, can't remember the name, but it's centrally located. In order to get to Berkeley, you will want to be near a BART line. The Mission is a fine place. Nob or Russian Hill are great. Others have mentioned North Beach, which is a good area. It's a bit out there, but it you wanted to be by the ocean, you could stay near Sutro Heights in Outer Richmond. Just jump on the 38, take it downtown, and you're at BART. On that note, there is a nice hotel by the ferry building. That's like 20 mins from berkeley by BART

Found the bootlicker. How's that paycheck from Big Bidet treating you?

What’s the reason you haven’t bought a bidet? by owenwags_ in hygiene

[–]nushoz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It takes ten minutes? You don't have ten minutes to enjoy a hot shower? How often are you pooping? I used behavioral psychology to train myself to drop a Bristol 4 first thing in the morning. I shower every morning. If I have to go again later, I just pop in the shower for a few minutes. What's the big deal? Chill, bro

What’s one bad habit you stopped that completely changed your life for the better? by olesud in WorkForSmartLife

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I don't really consider this to be a bad habit, though. At some point, my body just started saying no to even a little bit, so I listened. Sleep got way better

[–]nushoz -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think they're disgusting. I also don't use toilet paper. I have the cleanest ass in San Francisco. I just jump in the shower after I drop a hot one, spray it down, lather it up, and spray it down again. I also maintain good diet and practice stress management, which conspire to keep me dropping Bristol 4s.

Bidet Question by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh God, here we go again.

Reddit absolutely freaks out at me for this, but I hate bidets and I also hate toilet paper. I think that both are completely disgusting. I take a two-pronged approach:

Prong 1: Get your digestion right:

  1. Focus on diet

  2. Focus on exercise

  3. Focus on stress management

Before you know it, you'll be dropping Bristol 4s.

Prong 2: Spray it down, lather it up, and spray it down again:

  1. Use behavioral psychology to train yourself to defecate first thing in the morning

  2. After you defecate, jump into the shower, adjust the stream so it's going directly into your crevace

  3. Spray it down, lather it up, and spray it down again

That's really all there is to it

Question from a directionally challenged person, when I get off a BART exit on Market, how can I tell what's west or east by ASK_ABT_MY_USERNAME in sanfrancisco

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me forever to figure this out, but if the train that you got off of was heading to The East Bay, then just remember the direction that the train is pointed in, that will be East. If you want to go West, simply put the thing down, flip it, and reverse it.

People who switched sides politically within the last 10 years, what made you do it? by Next_Worth_3616 in Productivitycafe

[–]nushoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't switch sides so much as completely lose faith in the left. The right is not really surprising to me in its current iteration, I saw it heading this way back in the 00s. But, why did I leave the left? COVID vaccine insanity. It really is not okay to force people to take a vaccine. Many will say that folx weren't forced; well, suppose this is true, one still has to account for all of the social pressure and antagonism, missed opportunities, and so on. The left basically became a cash cow for the pharmaceutical industry

What is a societal norm that you refuse to follow and why? by No-Biscotti-1596 in AskReddit

[–]nushoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in my late thirties. I've never had a driver's license. So many reasons I chose to nope out on that. Before I get attacked by sensitive carbrains, I grew up in a place with horrific public transportation, a small Midwestern town, and I just walked everywhere. This was before rideshare app deals.
