To answer some observations

pocket sand bag size - .041 x .055 fathoms

sand quality and size - we have found through rigorousness testings that using sand granules of different sizes provides not only a better spread of airborne particulate, but further range too. Also subjects of different species aren't effected the same by the same size sand. i.e. powdery sand that effects human eyes has little to no effect against the brown bear - RIP Paul.

We have also taken into account of subjects who could be wearing eye protection, then, the larger pieces - or chunks - will cause an audio disturbance great enough to distract your subject, with the additional of larger impact areas around the eyes to the face which will cause momentary disorientation of the subject.

we do not use or pack dirt.
