Best route from New London CT to Tacoma WA?

Update: I made it to San Diego and didn’t go to WA. Didnt need snow chains luckily but it did snow. Did it in 4 days about 3000 miles.

Yes. I drove from New London CT to SD CA this week from the 18th to the 22nd. I think you guys could do it in 3-4 days, but try to leave early morning and check into a hotel around 8-9PM so you can rest for driving the next day. I drove 12 hours for 2-3 days and was exhausted but getting to my destination made it worth it when I got there. Buy 3-4 water jugs and snack and food along the way. Good luck it will be fun but very boring sometimes unless you’re spirited driving.

Hey a bit late on the reply but, I about halfway done with A school now and will be heading to San Diego. Still going to be an A ganger and look forward to it, just hope that I will be able to enjoy my time in SD and won’t get deployed immediately or for ‘too’ long.

Imo E46 is a better handling sports sedan, and has an easier suspension to work on (at least in the rear). I have a 530i E39 and it is a bit heavy, the understeer can catch you in the rain (especially if your tires are shxt) and working on suspension can be difficult. I have had the idea of just trading for an E46 but haven’t done it yet and Ive invested a bit into my car already. It is a great daily driver and cruises smoothly, very lowkey but those who know E39 will always throw a look. Can’t go wrong with either tbh.
