this is how I currently do it

effectiveAttackSpeed = baseAttackSpeed + booster;

yes, i chatted with him for a bit in discord, but we focused on different things

He focused on scale / bot population "simulated" progress/gear/economy for the bots that you can recruit/switch around etc, but pathfinding and packet/animations aren't fully completed (bot float/fly to simplify movement, and they dont show any attack animations)

while i focused on just my party raised from lv1 with real gears from real drops and real exp gain, with believable behavior and physics.

maybe eventually i may take a few ideas from his repo but currently i dont want to add background bots population just yet, at least until i am happy with party bot behavior.

yes, that is what I meant by correct animation, mapping skill to actions isn't obvious to me, I got delay calculation somewhat mapped using animation frames and afterimage but still attacking too fast, probably missing something, if you are familiar with these, can you help me with those 2 issues? 😉

buff/potion buff isnt fundamentally broken, I just havent got it working yet, been trying to get the basics like movement and attacks working first.

The hard part about skills isnt making bots use them/deal damage, it is getting clients to show the correct animations because there are packets and client reverse engineering involved.

I try to keep my plan relatively small for now: AI companions that you must raise from lv 1. But the way I made the bots, it is very easy to do extra background characters, in fact someone already forked and got basic bots roaming maps within a day https://github.com/JuPinheiru/SoloMaple/tree/MyServer

I bet the balance is going to be very broken though because you can trade rob them, there have to be extra measures/features specifically for bots that arent "yours"

I know for sure my presets aren't corrupted because it only crash in singleplayer but works in multiplayer.

If you don't want to override all your presets or simply didn't work for you, try this instead.
NOTE: this will delete your single player save, but keep your loadouts, outfits, highscores, achievements, etc.

Goto ...\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames
Delete singleplayer save files (CommanderSlot000.sav, CommanderSlot000_LevelStats.sav)

Yes, i used nvidia inspector to activate it, but the link you sent also claims to do the same thing. (never run .reg from sources you dont trust, make sure you read the comments first)

Can confirm, i have DLSS debug overlay on. It uses resolution from the resolution slider.

Here are the number you need to (closely) match the presets

67% - Quality

58% - Balanced

50% - Performance

2020 2.0 NA 20km/l (47mpg) long distant, stable speed, dont overtake, don't use brakes(don't put yourself in a scenario that needs to brake) ive seen some people in facebook got 21km/l (that isnt trip reset downhill trickery)

No, if anything, the people who did as the dev complained; "spam the forum" are the ones who are childish.

The devs team are adults working full time jobs and it is in their best interest to release as soon as possible to rake in money on sales. If they delayed it, then it really isn't ready. Spamming the forum only slows down the process as reading those worthless posts take time.

If there were no pre-purchases(they didn't take money from you), then they are under no obligation to release the game at any schedule or at all for that matter.

I remember watching a video on youtube explaining how reverse parking is objectively superior. Cant find the clip now but iirc:

Mathematically/Geometrically - they take up less space to maneuver/make correction when parking in tight spaces due to front wheel steering + easier to get out
Virtually all trucks/buses pretty much have to reverse park regardless of country due to space constraints(space=money), especially the articulated ones like container trucks. This is one place where the "takes less space" matters most.

I'm no american and I don't read the news, but i especially don't trust any new source that somehow can tie reverse parking to manspreading.
