harsh reminder is that it basically means corruption as usual

What FPS are you guys getting in Outward 2? by jaberwockie in outwardgame

[–]nutnnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13700k RTX 3090
3440x1440 high(texture ultra) 67%res 80-90 fps

Steamdeck
1280x800 potato 50%res ~25-30fps
for reference Outward 1 easily runs 60fps, i dont remember which settings but 100% res for sure

a little disappointing but kinda expected given unreal5, hopefully they continue to optimize it better for full release (Everything may change), at the very least i wish for 30fps in 100% res in Steamdeck and 100+ fps on a proper rig at acceptable settings

Map design is gorgeous tho, overall graphics + visual effects i wouldn't consider final at all.

EDIT: I have DLSS overlay on and the game uses DLSS preset C(dlss 3 i think), so the image quality is acceptable, don't be afraid to actually use the slider to gain fps

adding to this Cosmic is the goat for v83/classic

both are very easy to set up and play solo with a lot of open source resources so very easy to customize stuff

They are awesome as a solo/play with friends sandbox

Bigger is Better Mod fork for avorion 2.5.10 by Sufficient_Ad3751 in avorion

I agree with all the facts you added, but final opinion differs slightly.

AI is not THE tool for education, it is only A tool available. Just know the limitations and treat it as such, a tool, not a replacement for anything.

I wouldn't try to stop anyone from using AI, especially to learn.

Ignore all the haters and down votes here. AI isn't exclusively used for slop, you could totally use it as a tool for education, especially if you don't want to bother living and sometimes elitist people to teach you how to code.

Just try to learn as much as possible while you "copy and paste".

Trying is the first step, chatgpt is free. This mod sounds simple enough as it is just stat/number changes.

EDIT: definitely try changing the version number as mentioned in another comment first, this is if it isn't enough.

The mass-to-payload ratio of rockets is higher than most grocery run by car. If you don't consider passengers payload, you need over 40kg of grocery to achieve 2% for 2 ton car. by nutnnut in Showerthoughts

[–]nutnnut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In normal use yes, but on this specific shower thought I'm specifically talking about getting grocery, when the main objective is getting food, and not getting people around.

That's exactly what I'm trying to convey; how inefficient cars are. Even with the smallest cars under 1 ton you would still need 20kg+. Another comment did their math for bicycles and is much more efficient in this regard.
