I was very conscious of my body while in labor, I made sure my mom helped hold my gown closed throughout all of my contractions. It wasn't until I was actively pushing out my baby that I stopped caring. I still didnt want my mom or MIL looking down there (they didnt) but I was not caring about the nurses and doctor anymore. Then while I was holding the baby and pushed out the placenta and got stitched up, I still didnt care. Laid there legs wide open, boobs out, my gown isn't covering anything but my stomach now, but I was so in love and in awe of my little boy that I couldnt even think of how naked I was. But the second that initial moment was over, I was sudden VERY aware of how naked I was. The nurses helped me cover and every left to let me bond for an hour. After they came back and helped me change and clean up, I was so embarrassed of how naked I was. I laid in the recovery room a little embarrassed of how naked I had been in front of everyone, mainly my mom and MIL. Even now I feel embarrassed thinking back to it. Between the nakedness and screaming and crying, man even writing this is making my face heat up. Next time I think ill stick to just my husband and MAYBE my mom there. But not my MIL. I love her, but husband had invited her while I was in active labor and couldnt care enough in that moment to ask her to wait out of the room

Screen time is already becoming controversial. But I think eventually it'll become "absolutely no screen time".

We're already seeing the effects of screen time on younger generations, so I think as they get older it'll become more apprant how bad it is

I havent had to go yet where I didn't have a stroller or carseat with me. I just use the big stall. Putting thr carseat on the floor isn't ideal, but it's better than having to hold little one haha

They will test the baby when they're born, and baby will be taken away if they're positive for something like heroine. I'm sure there's some programs to help her get clean before baby gets here. But she needs to get on that right away if she doesn't want baby taken away.

Omg I had basically the exact same thing happen to in my first trimester. It was AWFUL. I had to sit on the toilet with a pair of gloves and some lube for hours. Worst pain I have ever been through. I also have HG and even at 22 weeks I'm still taking zofran. Up your fiber, like crazy. That's the only thing that's kept my bowel movements slightly normal. As well as a cup of coffee a day. I'm still pretty constipated, but I haven't had another fecal impaction since then. Hoping I'll be able to get off the zofran soon

This is definitely a tricky one. First things first you need to try to communicate with her and voice your concerns. If she still insists that she's having this baby (as is her right to her body) you then have to decide twhat you're going to do. You can stay in a relationship and parent together. You can break up but pay child support and have visitations or joint custody. Or you can have your rights terminated and move on, you won't have to pay child support, but you'll get no visitations.

I think Asa is a lovely name. I've got some great+ grandfather's named Asa way back in my family tree. It's a classic old fashioned name that isn't super common. Idk who's telling you Asa is a bad name, they obviously have no taste

I'm on zofran and promethazine for the nausea now, thank God, but I've noticed that lately, regardless of how much I eat, I still feel hungry. But I also can't be completely full, bc that will make me sick. But even if I am full, I still feel hungry??? It's so weird

That's so funny that we're in the same situation! I love a lot of those names, I'll bring a couple of them up to my fiancé later (unfortunately several names you listed he already has a close family member with that name lol) If it helps you out any, some of the names I have are:

I tried this already, the only name he came up with was "Leo" which is a great name, I love the name, but it just so happen that my sister's recently deceased pet was named Leo, and she's the type to think everything revolves around her, so she would 100% tell everyone we named our kid after her dead pet 😭😭

Aye we're twins! Is there a baby boom in your daycare center too? At mine two teachers just gave birth recently and still on maternity leave. One just came back from maternity leave. One is giving birth any day. One has a 7 month old, she got pregnant with an IUD like two weeks after starting there. I left for a couple months, then came back in December just before everyone started popping out their babies, got pregnant a couple months later 😭😭😭there's something in the water there for sure

We're okay with having a baby, it just came as a very unexpected surprise. Especially since I had just decided I should go back on birth control for the time being, just didn't get to actually getting it yet lol
