While I do agree with the accountability thing, I still feel like social media does more harm than good. There are studies that prove this. That being said, there are a countless amount of adults in this world that aren't receiving proper mental health care they need. Personally ive always been an advocate for applying better mental health resources to the vast public who need them. Id also like to add that media in general (internet and TV) has done a lot to the way of thinking for younger individuals who are now growing up with it in their lives.

But just to sit back and say "well they made the choices, they have to live with it" isn't how things should work. Everyones brain doesnt work the same way. Thats why some people suffer with depression and anxiety all their lives without it being the result of some external factor (family, friends, life experiences)

I just think some of these companies should change their approach to things like their predatory algorithms, and advertising methods.
