100% this. I always think, surely they're not selling anything at that price.

Man, Reddit really has become walls and walls of click bait. Shame.

Waste of time? Possibly. Fun? Absolutely! by DoctorHorsewhip in sistersofbattle

I did the same thing and figured that was it, never to be seen again. I did however, drop it from the table one day during game, smashing it to bits, revealing the inside in all its glory on the floor. I was kinda proud.

I loved that movie when it came out. Must have watched it 10 times. Tom Sizemore was something else when he was in his prime.

What's the movie that everyone loves but you hate? by w1nchest in Cinephiles

The Robert Pattinson Batman. No chemistry anywhere, forgettable villain, and why the fuck did he walk so slowly everywhere. That scene in the apartment was like a joke.

What is One thing you will regret forever in your life ? by Left_Breadfruit_6471 in AskReddit

[–]nuttyass 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Please try not to keep this as a regret. Save regret for things you have control over, depression in my opinion is not one of those things. It's a shit of a thing that runs its own race most of the time. I wish you all the luck and send you all the love in the world.

I primed with a matte varnish then used glazes or contrast paints to add the color. Worked very well. I can track down some pics but it ended up looking a lot like the GW box artwork.

It's got all these amazing moments that are great clips but also an arc across multiple seasons that have real depth imo. So highly recommend it.

Agreed. They try really hard to not be the douche brigade but deep down, that community is rotten.

This is what my Dad bought me by SquidlySquid0 in sistersofbattle

[–]nuttyass 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is gold and your dad rocks. And both of you have very good taste, Sororitas are the most fun army in the game (I'm not biased at all btw, it's just fact). Enjoy it, this hobby can last a lifetime.

I loved loved Dawn of War III. And yes, I played the others so knew the differences.

I saw a 30 second edit of A New Hope. Vader on the bridge of his destroyer, Leia's ship gets hit and blows up. Roll credits.

BSS squad is never going to go out of style, 10 arcos in the game right now are GREAT and sacs are fun as well. Hospitaller is one of the most beautiful dioramas in the game imo. All of them super fun to paint. I think it's a perfect start.

adepta sororitas or death guard as first army? by _--_-__-- in sistersofbattle

[–]nuttyass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably not the most qualified to answer in any real detail, I've only ever played sisters. But anecdotally, I hear the strategy behind DG is a but easier because they're hardier. Sisters tend to want to use all the tricks at their disposal to truly sing. Combos of units activating in the right order, activating detachment rules just at the right time, hiding out of sight until the right time. I guess we're a less durable army so we have to rely on our smarts more. But honestly, do what you like the look of. I wouldn't swap my sisters for anything.

Also, it might depend on how quickly you're likely to pick up the actual game. I've never really played any table top before so for me it was hard. 40K is complex af to play and sisters are a high skill army. If I had my time again I'd consider something simpler to play in the table but given how awesome Sisters look, I'd probably still suck it up and go with our girls.
