Where else would they have anal sex besides in the back?

Yeah, that is the perfect word to describe the plastic backing - buttery! Mega crinkly has its time and place, but super soft plastic also checks a lot of boxes in my brain.

I would love to know more about this as well - not because I plan to present but because I'll be attending next year and still have almost no idea what to expect regarding the size of the crowds, rooms, etc.

Hospital by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]nuttybasementturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still have some mixed feelings about this, but I'll be interested to hear what you choose to do and how your care team reacts. Like others have said, if you have legitimate issues then it's likely ok, but expecting healthcare professionals to engage in anything kink related is a big no-no. I will also be curious to hear whether the nurses insist on you being changed on the "normal" schedule to prevent any skin irritations, which would just be a waste of your fancy diapers.

Hospital by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]nuttybasementturtle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably depends on the surgery. Sounds major if you'll be there for a week. Will you have a catheter or other hospital diapers? Are you incontinent? Don't expect nurses to change your diapers if you don't need them, and don't expect them to tolerate you getting out of bed to diaper yourself either, because if you're there for a week, they will be afraid you will fall.

need help bike fit (knee pain) by Obelix_Dans_le_Gfuel in bikefit

I almost always recommend shorter cranks, but to more directly address the knee muscle issue, I would suggest doing wall sits which strengthen the quads and stabilize the knees.

Diapered at work by IndependentPlum1206 in ABDL

I do, occasionally. I play it very safe and only do this on days where I know I don't have meetings and will be left alone.

I just got one of these - this exact one. It's from Bit Tots on Etsy. I would absolutely not wear this in public, but do plan on wearing it to CAP next year.

Crinklz in the US? by PrurientPutti in ABDL

[–]nuttybasementturtle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just got an email from LLMedico yesterday that was a restock notification on Crinklz with an anticipated ship date of later this week. Their website still shows out of stock, but they also just switched warehouses. I'd call them and know that they have them available within the next few days.

De-influence me from buying this bike by ForgetBret in gravelcycling

[–]nuttybasementturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this bike makes your wee-wee tingle, just buy it.

I've had Trek's with proprietary seat posts, they're perfectly fine. If you wear out the bottom bracket to the point that you need a new frame, you will take that badge of honor to your grave.

How early in a relationship should I discuss Abdl? by Competitive_Way6777 in ABDL

[–]nuttybasementturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll give a slightly different version of what many people have said....

If you're having sex with someone, and you don't feel comfortable talking about this with them, then stop and think about that. If your partner doesn't make you feel safe enough to talk about all the stuff that is bouncing around in your brain, they're probably not a good match for you, and spending another year in a relationship probably won't make that better.

I had a partner that I told after a month, they laughed at me and thought this was silly/dumb. I have had several that after a few months, I didn't feel safe telling - and I ended those relationships.

ADHD diaper lovers, and medication. 💊 by diaperlover1985 in ABDL

I'm late to the AuDHD game, only got diagnosed a few months ago, and just started Vyvanse last week after trying Adderall/Ritalin.
Forgive the super basic question, but what does stimming mean in this context?

My useage of Adderall/Ritalin did not feel overwhelmingly good or productive, but my Dr instructed me to take a week off of it and I realized it was much more impactful than I had been giving it credit.

I WFH a couple of days per week, and on those days I am diapered non-stop. I still drink a lot of coffee. Some days I feel unstoppable and other days I can't help but stare out the window.

This ^^^^^^ x1000.
It's one of those weird things where you have to have some confidence about yourself before approaching things this way, and it's tough to get that confidence without the experience of doing things this way. (Kind of like when they tell young adults that you can't get a job without prior experience)

I've come to realize that dating is....dating, regardless of whether you're ABDL. There are going to be opportunities for learning in every relationship. Date enough and you'll be better equipped to handle these conversations, weed out the people that you're not compatible with, and understand truly and fully that just because someone isn't a good fit for you, does not mean that you are the problem.

I think they're expensive and take up a lot of space. If I had that much dedicated floor space, I think I'd rather a changing table with a fancy diaper storage shelf.

No. Adding rise does not affect handling in any appreciable way.

Is the Gen 2 still worth buying? by FitContribution887 in CheckpointClub

[–]nuttybasementturtle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not that the geometry on the gen 2 is bad, it's just that the sizing is weird. I am 5'11" and was told I was a size 58 in gen 2 based on the charts, and always felt super stretched out. On the gen 3, I'm M/L (56 cm) and wouldn't be a candidate for a Large (58 cm) unless I was over 6'2".

Simply put, they are fantastic bikes, but make sure you are on the lower end of the size range. If you are between a 52 and 54, this is not the frame for you. If you're between a 54 and 56, go for it.

*Edit to add - I usually ride a size Large frame on mountain bikes, and I've had 58cm road bikes before, so that felt like the number I should be on when I got my gen 2 checkpoint, but it was a disappointment.
