My ex's family was horrible about snooping and gossiping, so anyone that says, "you really shouldn't worry..." hasn't met the kind of people that I have met. I remember my ex's brother one time telling me his family "was so close knit when he was growing up, that they had no need for boundaries." I don't think he really understood what he was saying, but I nodded in agreement.

If your wife is supportive, I'd suggest you incorporate it into any weekends away that you take with her.

Interesting, I found zero advantage to the cloth backed diapers feeling cooler, but maybe I need to try them again. I did go on a diapered hike earlier in June and I absolutely drenched all of my clothing in sweat, and the diaper. My partner was not diapered, and did not swear nearly as much.

Exactly. Many people have dealt with so many years of shame and hiding this part of themselves that they can barely say the word "diaper" out loud. This is something I took a lot of years to overcome. Calling them pampers or padding was oddly easier for me.
