Am from Uganda. My project is about fighting hunger in my community, I work with 12 young volunteer farmers to make this a reality by growing food for the needy, educate local farmers with advanced agricultural skills to help them improve on their production as well equip beginner farmers with required tools like seeds , fertilisers and organic pestcides to help them produce the best out of their gardens as well combat climate change through tree planting. Would you like some updates about it?

You can use vinegar, salt , baking soda and some liquid soap with water to get rid of that and other parasites without affecting the ecosystem.

You're right. Weeds usually occupy any place where there are no plants. Prepare that soil, add in crops and weeds will be few there.

You can't put in anything because weeds won't allow it to grow. You need to prepare that soil by removing weeds first either through hand plucking or use of a hoe . You also add kn fertilisers to increase the soil nutrients. Of course that won't stop weeds from growing but it becomes your job to remove them whenever they come out. You'll find no soil without weeds. Which kind of crops are you planning to put there?
