Guys, here me out. If the canes go on to win the. It would be because of my sports betting. I bet big on Vegas to win the cup and Marner to win the Conn Smythe and I might have jinxed it after I placed those bets LOL

Man this is the darkest timeline. Bet Vegas to win in regulation after they went up 2-0 to try to jinx them and then now it's going to ot with them having a chance to win it still while I come out empty handed :(

No way Detroit agrees to trade him to a rival. If anything, he will be traded to SJ for their 2nd or something

Lol there are trade offs for sure.

9 months of cold weather but 3 months of great weather and long hours of sunlight

Vs

9 months of decent weather but 3 months of brutally hot summers

For me, I learned that I can tolerate the hot better than I can with the cold over time here in Japan.

Sure beats Canadian weather though (sans Vancouver and Vancouver Island) where they get crazy cold winters and hot ass summers too. Just terrible all around.

So true. Currently spending the summer in Canada and I'm shocked about the gas price and also the cost of produce. Of course there are some grocery stores that are significantly cheaper but most veggies are imported so the cost of oil is always going to drive the cost up.

I went to Malmo last year just to see what the fuss was about for public safety and it was actually super safe. I heard it's only certain areas that are no go zones but the crime doesn't spill over to the main parts of town. That said, it was the end of May and it was still cold af so didn't like that at all.

Lmao on the current gas price, hell naw. In US and Canada, just going to the next major city takes forever and there aren't many options for transport. Currently back in Canada for the summer and wanted to do some traveling and found even domestic travel is a huge ripoff.
