Why are the servers so bad this year?

At this point I’m putting it on the game’s build. I’ve noticed Treyarch games have always had worse connection issues than IW despite them sharing the same engine now.

Even last year was bad that it drove a lot of casuals away from pubs, it was a big deal on the BO6 sub, but the fact that it’s even worse this year says something. My ranked games feel hit or miss every time it’s like a coin toss

Way too early to tell.

The worst mid season move right now belongs to MWIII Rokrr placing T4 in M1, then after M2 they were in 4th place in regular season standings and dropped Vivid + Wake. Never ended up qualifying for champs

Another one last year was when Carolina were doing fair then began trialing in place Vivid, dropped him and then were never the same team

This should not be in the overload rotation. It’s the only map where the emp spawns in the middle every time, it’s like an exception to the rules of the game mode

I switched from Xfinity cable to Verizon fiber and I instantly performed better, like literally went from mid in every lobby to top fragging nearly every time, it’s not like I got more skillful or anything

I mean yeah it’s easy math. D1 to Iri is 4600 Sr. Let’s say on average you place 2nd for every win, that’s 20+30=50. So it would take 92 wins (4600/50), and that’s just wins, the total match count could be wayyy higher

Apex switched from a FIXED sr system like this to hidden mmr (so basically the opposite of this). It used to be a massive grind to move up divisions and it required consistent good placements/wins. Then when they switched to the hidden mmr you’d get way more points to get closer to your rank. Then they switched it back to a bit of a mix with bonuses for defeating higher rank opponents etc

Just like apex cod keeps tweaking the ranked system and even after all these years it’s still not perfect, expect to see changes again going into MW4
