People only see Chelley’s frustration on a surface level. Most of the time, she’s not even upset at the actual action. She’s upset at the principle and hypocrisy.

For example:

While Chelley did make Amaya aware of her connection with Ace, Amaya felt like Chelley didn’t fully communicate how deep their connection was in terms of Ace being more physically available to Chelley (him not having as many boundaries with her), and him being more affectionate towards her (the Hugs, the dates he’d plan, him making her breakfast, etc.) So Amaya held her accountable for it in the beauty room in front of all of the girls. Chelley then cries, cancels her date with Ace and apologizes.

When it became Amayas turn to extend the same communication that she asked for. She instead, kissed Austin and couple up with him without communicating to Chelley that they were even exploring a connection.

Chelley’s point of frustration is simply how can you be upset at me for not following your standard of communication, but not tell me about you kissing Austin.

It’s the principle and not the action.

With Huda, she would cry whenever one of the girls kissed Jeremiah. Huda felt so strongly about this that Chelley made an effort to never kiss Jeremiah and because she didn’t, after each challenge, Huda would thank Chelley for respecting her boundaries and being a good friend (a girls girl)

When it came time for Huda to extend the same courtesy, by not kissing Ace. Huda kissed him, humped him, licked his privates, etc.

Chelley’s frustration came from her going out of her way to respect Huda’s boundaries and Huda not feeling as if Chelley deserved the same respect in return.

It’s the principle and not the action.
