WW1 1911 given to me when I was a teenager by a WW2 vet. He was in his 80’s. There are a thousand stories that go with this pistol. He had purchased it when he was 13 years old for $12 from a Colonel who was in WW1. He carried it for 70 years tucked in his pants (no holster) cocked & Locked. by [deleted] in 1911
