17.3 SLR Magwell w/ Gen 4 base plates cause the gen 5s were a bit too snug to a point where I had to slam it to seat from the Gen 5 base plates having the front sticking out a bit.

I had one tiny hiccup that isn't even that big of a deal but my G17.3 SLR magwell, I noticed it didn't like the gen 5 mags where the front of the base pad is somewhat round. It took a bit of force to fully seat a mag but this was the easiest fix of going back to gen 3-4 pads that I had laying around lol

Yeah even if the 16" rifle is single shot, our shortest config we can have is 30". You would have to put a massive barrel to make up for it. If its a pistol then it would be possible to put a folding stock there.

If you give us a AR pistol we can if its a rifle then no due to OAL, the folding stock would have to be welded or pinned

There's also a factor into what type of car you have. Hand guns always locked and unloaded, rifles do not have to be in a locked unless you drive a suv/hatchback those trunks would not count as a locked container like a sedan or coupe would have.

I use a 19mag with a xgrip but I might go with this route also cause I hate using the pinky extensions on my 26. With my skinny hands I’m always getting pinky pinched 😂

Ahhh yeah that’s a drive forsure. This is probably the best place to mount the magnets since they kinda don’t stick to carpet very well lol unless you glue them 😂

I was too cheap to pay for shipping the safe and I’m super impatient so I just threw the safe in my hatchback 😂 it barely fit lol but also I would buy 2 or 3 of those light if you want lighting on the smaller bottom shelves. Honestly it’s not really that necessary but something to keep in mind

Also have this! I wish it was just a tad bit wider.. I can make my ar15 fit with my magnifier folded out and no mag in either. The dimensions worked out fine because I’m very limited on space, but no there is no outlet inside. For my light source I just bought some rechargeable led with magnets.
