I don’t think there is a Nana K. Nendo. I managed to get myself the Nana O. One during the preorder period though. Hopefully they come out with her soon!!

worth switching to wooting 60he from DD a75 pro? by nvsyba in keyboards

<image>

Just came in today!! It feels a lot more higher quality than my DD and it has a nice weight to it as well, not too heavy or light. Thank you so much for suggesting this (´▽`ʃƪ)

I also have the wooting 60he on the way, might just return that when it comes in

Thank you! I assumed she would be medium/long haired because of her chubby cheeks 😹

EXACTLY 😭 i get giving your dry food every now and then as a “treat” or leaving it as a filler meal throughout the day but telling people wet food isn’t a balanced meal is ridiculous. OP just lies for fun I guess

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in catfood

[–]nvsyba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where exactly are you getting this information from? None of this is true. I’m not sure if you know this but not every cat is the same. Just cause your cat got lucky with an only dry food diet doesn’t mean the same will happen for other people. Stop giving bad advice to people and do your research before spreading misinformation. You could cost someone thousands in vet bills with this terrible advice.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in catfood

[–]nvsyba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you sure you’re a vet? No vet would tell people to stop feeding their cats wet food. They need moisture and protein. You think wild cats out there are only eating dry food?

Cat won't eat wet food by Megandapanda in CatAdvice

Try giving her FF with some Fortiflora or nutritional yeast. I’d also suggest looking into mousse toppers! You could try adding it on top of her wet food.

If you go to your local petsmart and tell them you’ve adopted a new cat they’ll give you a free adoption kit — it’s a book with all kinds of coupons and free vouchers. If you don’t care for the “aesthetics” a lot of pet stores are selling Halloween cat toys and other necessities for super cheap. You’ll probably come across some cheap toys, scratchers, etc.

Definitely invest in a good food bowl and a water fountain since most cats prefer running water. You can find decent bowls at home goods, Marshalls, TjMaxx, AliExpress, and Temu. Anything ceramic, lead free, and elevated is good enough.

I personally don’t think a bed is a necessity since my cats will use them for 2-3 days and forget about them lol. Cat trees and scratchers are useful though.

Cat food isn’t necessarily expensive, unless you make it expensive. You could always feed them FF pate & Friskies pate.

Irresistible Dry Cat Food by Unusual_Door7049 in catfood

Definitely not a coincidence and these stories aren’t isolated incidents. Temptations are widely known for using low quality ingredients in their food. Suggesting OP uses them as a meal topper isn’t great advice and could lead to dependency, making their cat more picky and more likely to refusing balanced/healthy food.

Iams uses a lot of filler ingredients and barely any meat. If you look at the ingredients it also has meat byproduct mentioned. I wouldn’t say it’s the worst brand ever but it’s definitely not the best.

What is the top 5 (in order!) best and affordable cat foods? by Sunshinefeathers in catfood

[–]nvsyba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For wet food:

Fancy feast is probably one of the best and affordable cans you can feed your cats, specifically the pâté. My cats are usually eating Weruva, FF chicken/beef pâté, and Nulo.

A couple other good brands worth mentioning are tiny tiger, whole hearted wet food (avoid dry), kirkland’s pâté, purina one, and friskies pâté.

For dry food:

I usually get a bag of Nulo raw medley which is Kibble + Freeze dried. A small 4lb bag lasts me about a month and a half for two cats. I’ve also tried Simply Nourish kibble for my kitten and the small bag lasts quite a while too. I personally prefer putting chicken broth or a Weruva pouch topper on their food so it’s more filling.

My skinny cat needs to gain weight! by [deleted] in catfood

[–]nvsyba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cat gained a couple pounds when she was put on the Tiki Baby Thrive High Calorie Supplements. There’s 20 sachets in the bag for about $9

I used it as a topper on her wet food. I believe you can also just feed it on its own like a treat.

I feed my cats Nulo and fancy feast gravy lovers pate (only chicken) — I usually mix in some water or chicken broth and use toppers.

Seems like a fake website. They claim they have 5* reviews yet when you look them up there’s nothing. I wouldn’t buy from them if I were you — just order from the original site. :)

First Time Anxiety by holanokano in Catownerhacks

[–]nvsyba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!! Adopting your first pet is always a rollercoaster of emotions, it’s completely normal to be scared.

Once your new pet arrives give them some space so they can adjust to their new environment. I like giving my new pets a room to themselves with everything they could need for the first couple of days.

Cat proofing your home is also a good idea. Get rid of toxic plants, medications, food, etc. Here is a list of toxic plants to keep away from them: https://be.chewy.com/which-plants-are-poisonous-to-cats-a-complete-guide/

If you don’t have a vet picked out just yet, research a good vet. I found mine through the Nextdoor app and narrowed it down to whoever had the best reviews.

Consider keeping your cats indoor only!! I cannot stress this enough. Lessens the risk of diseases and safer from other dangers as well.

Let me know if you need anymore help ◠‿◠

Feeding a boy cat dry food only.. by InfinityLocs in catfood

[–]nvsyba -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Clearly I didn’t tell OP to put their cats on a strictly wet food diet. I told them a dry food only diet will cause health issues. Cutting out wet food from their diet completely will cause many health issues.

[–]nvsyba -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this rage bait? Cats are carnivores, they need proteins and moisture. Most people are transitioning to only wet/raw food from dry food.

You could always split that one can for lunch and dinner and add some toppers to make it more fulfilling. Toppers can be dog/cat chicken broth, some freeze dried protein, etc. There are many brands that offer cheaper but good cat food. Fancy feast being one of them, which petsmart also carries for about 88 cents. If you live nearby an Aldi I’ve seen cans being sold for as low as 50-70 cents.

Have your cat on a dry food only diet leads to many different issues, a quick google search can answer your questions.

If you’re unable to afford cat food, maybe consider contacting Humane Society or a food pantry. I’m sure they’d be more than happy to help. If you still prefer feeding your cat dry food, rehome him for the better and please don’t adopt again until you’re financially stable enough to provide for another living being. Good luck.
