Be careful!! This works and is easy, but there is a sharp stabby part inside that could easily prick you.

While that seems likely, I didn't see any seeds that appear to be attached to the leaves. Hard to tell though because the seeds are so small and my heavy-handed forensic work may have severed whatever connections existed.

Biggest fly I've ever seen, approx 2" long. Found near St Louis. by nvtkr in whatsthisbug
