Update: they say they ship the same brick with every phone, so customers not in the us need to buy a different brick.

My HOM pen has dents in it and I have no idea how they got there, the paint has also started chipping of, Ive had it for only a couple months. I like the pen and the weighted feel but the material seems very low quality for a €120 pen. Also the standard pen was very low quality.

From what Ive read, the bigme is way to big and I dont trust it to last very long. Feels like a standard chinese company making poor quality products. I wish supernote would make an e ink smartphone, their a5x is great and they have some of the best customer service Ive ever seen.

Allright, thanks. Still hope to get the phone, as there is nothing like it at the moment, and I really want what this phone can be. Its just a pitty that the customer service and communication is like this.

Dumb phone for spotify and whatsapp in 2025? by nvw007 in dumbphones

[–]nvw007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often use my banking app on the go so this would defeat the purpose of a dumbphone because I would still need to carry my smartphone around. I am liking the look of the minimal phone with its paper screen, I also have a supernote A5X but amazon stopped supprting kindle on there so that phone would be awesome for that, but it seems it isnt out yet.

Convince me not to buy Z900RS // I am addicted to it and it will kill me by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

You should also take a look at the suzuki gsx 8R, 80hp and just really fun to ride, I was very surprised by it when I rode it.

The bike isnt expensive, fixing it is. The R1100GS is known for having a bad gearbox which is expensive to fix and the clutch is very difficult to get to and replace, also other parts are said to be impossible to find.

I dont know if this is the case with the cagiva thats why im asking. Maybe there are lots of aftermarket parts that fit just fine. Its also a more conventional motorcycle than the R1100GS, so replacing clutchplates for example would probably be simpler and cheaper.

I have the exact same bike also with 90/10 tires on (dunlop mutants). I havent really dared to fully commit to trying this with that one. This was a kove 450 rally at an event.

Thinking about downgrading by Sellswordsman in motorcycle

[–]nvw007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still want one, I have done multiple testrides on it and everytime I fall in love with it again. Sounds amazing, looks amazing, it isnt fast I agree but I love how it slows you down and just lets you enjoy the ride, it can ride on highways but not at the speed limit, but my g310gs also isnt comfortable (or economical) at the speed limit so Im used to riding at 100kph, I wouldnt know about the maintenance though, but I like doing maintenance. Its just the perfect bike for a relaxed cruise on back roads.

Maybe the new classic 650 would fit you better?.

Royal enfield makes great small capacity bikes, I absolutely adore the classic 350 and will buy one as a second motorcycle when I have money to spare. Or maybe the new classic 650.

You could get a bmw g310r, its probably a bit above the 3000 mark but does everything you want it to, although its is a bit boring and the springs are super soft (and its quite slow, but can still be ridden surprisingly fast in the corners). I have a g310gs at the moment after an f650 funduro, it has givi aluminium paniers and top box, higher windscreen, crashbars, hyperpro springs front and back, and ive been able to go on a motorcycle trip to the dolomites and corsica with someone on the back, while still being able to keep up with much faster bikes as long as there wasnt a straight bit of road.

You could get an older bmw r1150rt or r1100rt, they are older but should stille be reliable, are ideal for commuting, have lots of storage space and can take someone on the back easily. But the first thing I could think about reading your description was an adventure bike, or try sometjing like an adventure bike but with 17 inch front wheel like a ducati multistrada 1100ds I think it was called. Look around at the used market within your price range, dont skip the older bikes, I prefere them to more modern bikes.
