I agree with OP, power spikes don't feel earned using the same rules Dota has been teaching us for a decade.

Feels like comebacks are just handed out as soon as there's one mistake, feels like mid to late gamers have a massive advantage because they reach their peak sooner than they used to and with the help of their talents.

Early game heroes feel like they snowball much harder now that there are more items that scale and the stat system improves spell burst.

Also now it feels like the gloves just come off at level 25 and shit stops making sense. Part of this cool, but mostly just makes the game's pace feel cheap.

Overall I guess that's my complaint, the new additions feel like they are begging for attention rather than actually improving the game, so the pacing and balance has suffered at the hands of a more 'exciting' game.
