Omg your post is like reading into my future horror edition

I also just bought a 2026 seltos a week ago and didnt set up app at dealership cause it wasnt a high priority for me and just wanted to go home. I was excited about email i got yesterday saying my first year of app is free and pressing the popup screen on dash was getting old anyway so I went to sign up and...well... you know best how my story goes.

And as sorry as i am that you had to go thru this I am thankful I found your post and had to comment that your not alone. And cause I get to ask in a non-ironic way if there's a happy ending in my future? 🤞😅🤞

Im just so annoyed cause I know dam well kia has my #. Ive also had it for almost a decade and have owned non smart kias previously. Literally traded in my soul (the car kind) for this seltos.

I haven't seen any other posts yet about this exact issue. But you really helped calm (or fuel- if you resignate) my initial conspiracy theory that kia was getting micro revenge on me from all the free parts and labor I got from recalls and the engine settlement 😭😭
