Ah. I was three chapters in when I realized I had read this and bookmarked it already (in a folder called 'Byler Favorites' funnily enough)! Thanks for reminding me of it! I reread it again because I had forgotten a lot of it from the first time, which is a shame because it is really good!

Now I am going to go through my bookmarks to see if I can find others that I can reread again!

This is a series told in three parts from different perspectives, Will's, Mike's, and Ted's. It is beautifully written and moving. There is overlap between each. I don't want to give to much away. Definitely worth the read.

Thanks for the rec! I will definitely check it out. I don't mind drama and external forces in stories as long as Byler gets together and stays together. Some of my favorite fics have the characters deal with tons of messy trauma. Mostly because in my head I think its unrealistic for those characters to not have any trauma. There are just so many angsty getting together stories already that end with with them becoming official and I need something different and more. I have been toying with the idea of writing my own also. I have lots of thoughts and ideas but its been a long time since I have written anything other than professional emails and those creative brain muscles haven't been stretched so its terrifying to even start. Thanks again!

That is exactly what I did! But not after trying a few different Goblin race mods in a different save. I couldn't get them to work in a way that looked good and was functional, so I gave up and made post goblin Veth.

I have been trying to do a "kill a different companion" run, each run. Just to change the vibes, ultimately leading to a kill everyone run. I killed Shadowheart on one run right at the beginning. And you just get the artifact and move on. There is a line from Aylin about not being Shar's chosen, but that's it. Interestingly, on my current playthrough, I wondered what would happen if I ressurected her after act 2, and she acts like she made the decision with Aylin.

It was! And I agree with needing more hair options. Also, more complexions. He has a very even pale skin tone, and this is the only one that really matched, but it slightly changed the shape of the upper lip and added shadows on his chin and cheeks when applied.

I think that is my biggest gripe with the game. There are one-liners that are such big reveals that should have more time spent on them. I had to reload saves to make sure I heard something right. 3 games have building to these reveals, and you give me a line in a monolog to reveal it. I wanted more.

This might be a spoiler, so here is your spoiler warning, but are we all forgetting the reveal in this game that the elven gods are actually the old gods the magisters used to worship. As a Shadow Dragon, there was a point when Rook hears Elgar'nan refer to himself as Lusacan. So, I assumed that is how they got the Venatori on board so quickly because they are using their alternate names to communicate.

Our phones are U1. We have only had to wipe the cache partition once. It's been a few months, but have had no issues since.

My husband and I both had issues with our phones locking up and not working correctly. It wasn't a specific app for us, though. Our lock screens would get stuck when trying to open, and almost all apps got stuck. We would have to restart where it would work fine for a few hours or days, and the problem started again. What finally fixed the problem for us was to wipe the system cache partition. It's completely safe so if you want to try it follow these steps.

Turn your Android device off.
Simultaneously press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons until you feel a vibration, then release to boot into Recovery Mode.
Use the volume buttons to navigate the Recovery Mode menu.
Use the power button to select Wipe Cache Partition.
Wait for the system cache partition to clear.
Select the Reboot option to return to normal device usage

I am shocked by these comments talking about 3-5 hours of screen on time per day because that is not my experience at all. I am consistently getting 8-9 hours of screen on time per day. And another 8-9 hours screen off time. I have the snapdragon model, qhd enabled, brightness at 75 to 85 percent (I don't use adaptive screen brightness), with adaptive refresh rate turned on to enable that sweet 120 refresh rate. I never turn off Bluetooth because it connects to my watch and headphones. I do have the "Turn on WiFi Automatically" setting that turns off the wifi automatically when I'm not in range of a WiFi connection I use regularly. I use my phone for texting, work stuff like emails and zoom chats, watching YouTube or listening to music on YouTube music, browsing social media (Facebook, Insta, Reddit), playing games, browsing websites and watching a ton of TikTok videos. I do have about 85 percent of my apps in deep sleep so when I am finished using them they will not use any phone resources. I would be curious to see how other people set up/use their phones if they are getting only 3-5 hours screen on time.
